Oyster Stew from Pyrex Prize Recipes
Ingredient: 
  • 2 cups oysters (1 pint)
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 quart milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

1. Drain oysters.

2. Melt butter in a p y r e x Flameware Saucepan. Add drained oysters and cook 3 minutes or until edges of oysters curl. Remove from heat.

3. Add milk, salt, pepper and paprika. Return to heat and bring almost to a boil. Serve very hot.
